2011 Jagermeister Independent Music Awards to air on Channel V 26th October

On Wednesday  12^th October, Revolt Melbourne proudly hosted the 2011 Jagermeister Independent Music Awards, an event dedicated to honouring the hard working Australian recording artists who remain independent from major labels. The evening has been dubbed by the organisers and many attendees as the best event since the awards began six years ago.

Having set out to scale the event back to a more intimate setting, focused on paying more respect to the artists and creating a supportive atmosphere, the organisers well and truly achieved their goal, and did a splendid job of honouring some of Australia’s most promising artists. With performances from Calling All Cars, Emma Louise, Adalita, The Holidays and Illy featuring Owl Eyes the audience were blown away with the amazing production.

The event will be screened on Channel V on the 26^th October 2011.
