Melbourne Fringe Festival 2011

Revolt Melbourne’s first Melbourne Fringe Festival program was no small feat, delivering 16 shows in five spaces across two and a half weeks, all made possible due to the hard work of the dedicated Revolt team, assisted greatly by a wonderful group  of volunteers, and of course the artists who breathed life into their shows daily.

 

This hard work was kindly recognised by the judging panel at the Fringe awards, with the following honours:

Winner: Best Venue – Revolt Melbourne

Winner: People’s Choice Award – Hannah Williams for “Mercedez Benz Awkwardly”
Winner: Excellence in Cabaret – Jenny Wynter for “The Unexpected Variety Show”
Highly Commended: Best Music – Living Music for “No Place Like Home”
