Entwined delves into the lives of three women living in Footscray: Valerie, her daughter Alison and granddaughter Amy.

Entwined exposes the needs and fears of these three flawed women and unearths the unspoken sins

that continue to shape and affect their lives. It explores how each generation tries to correct the mistakes of the previous one while, in turn, making different mistakes.

It also reveals how secrets buried in the past can have devastating effects upon the present as each generation struggles for the love they need from the others.

Kitchen Table Productions have met around kitchen tables in Kensington and Coburg for years now to discuss, rehearse, and feast! Our first production was Disclosure, written and directed by Helen Collins, with an initial season at North Melbourne Town Hall and a follow up season at La Mama. Now with a new play, Entwined, just waiting to take flight, Helen Collins and the Company are meeting around those familiar tables again to make ready this theatrical offering!
