Welcome to Ruby's, a place where all your fantasies can come true. For a price. Jeremy isn't quite sure why he's here- he's just turned eighteen and he's never even kissed a girl. When he meets Scarlett, he thinks he's found the girl of his dreams. But he hasn't spent time in her room yet.

Scarlett's Room is a comedy-drama that explores the classic themes of coming-of-age, friendship and loyalty.

It just happens to be set in a brothel.

Written and Directed by: Alexander Gibbs.

Featuring: Sean Paisley Collins, Hannah Gott, Kristina Benton, Jacqui Stewart, Mike Roberts and Kate Dix.

About the Comapny:

Conundrum Productions is owned by Alexander Gibbs, who was born in Sydney.
His first play, I, Andromeda, was produced in 2004 on the Central Coast of New South Wales, and was revived in Sydney two years later for a staged reading with the Factory Space Theatre Company.

In 2007 Alexander won Best Original Script in Short & Sweet (Central Coast), for his ten-minute comedy Dialogue, which he also directed. He followed this up with Butterfly Lounge, which he directed in embryonic form for Wyong TheatreFest, and won the Adjudicator's Award for Most Promising New Playwright. Butterfly Lounge was then revived as a jazz musical by acclaimed directors Pauline Wright and Jiri Kripac in 2008.

After a staged reading of his play Amateurs for Uniting Productions in 2010 Alexander took a break from the theatre scene and relocated to Melbourne the following year. In January 2012 he won both the Judges' Choice and the People's Choice awards for Revenge of the B Story, another comedy which he directed for Crash Test Drama in St Kilda. He was also on the judging panel for Short & Sweet Sydney in February.
